Fetish Defined by Dirty Girl
I think one of the first things we need to do is make sure that we all understand the definition of the word fetish. According to dictionary.com ‘fetish’ is defined as:
fet•ish also fet•ich (f t sh, f t sh)
n.
1. An object that is believed to have magical or spiritual powers, especially such an object associated with animistic or shamanistic religious practices.
2. An object of unreasonably excessive attention or reverence: made a fetish of punctuality.
3. Something, such as a material object or a nonsexual part of the body, that arouses sexual desire and may become necessary for sexual gratification.
4. An abnormally obsessive preoccupation or attachment; a fixation.
I think it is painfully obvious that when discussing sexuality we are looking at only the later two definitions.
Personally I find the literal definition of the word fetish to be a little bit perplexing. Obviously most dictionaries cater to societal standards and it becomes understandable then that it would define anyone with a fetish as abnormal or obsessive. After all we are all kinky freaky people. Nobody loves us, everybody hates us and for the most part we are portrayed as the off kilter psychotic and freaky characters in horror movies and suspense novels.
According to a survey done in February of 2001 (and please keep in mind that the alternative lifestyle community seems to be growing by leaps and bounds every year) an estimated 5.601% of people world wide were believed to have some sort of BDSM related fetish. To find out more about this survey you can visit the ‘fetish statistics’ section of the Fetish Psychology website. In 2001 5.601% of people would be an estimated 336 million people world wide. Not only is that number bigger than some nations populations, but it also serves as pretty hard evidence that having a sexual fetish is not that ‘abnormal’ in today’s society.
In conclusion and for purpose of the dirty girl fetish analysis, I am going to assume that those that read my website are like minded individuals and therefore the vast population of readers of my site include people that have fetishes, kinks and dirty little secrets they keep from others and so nobody here is freaky, abnormal or obsessive. Unless of course you are of the dominant persuasion and your obsessive nature is a positive thing. Likewise please understand that I’m a dirty girl, I’m a dirty phone sex girl, and I am probably the dirtiest girl in the whole world, so the fact that I may be label by others as abnormal, freaky, or as a sexual deviant is pretty hot to me and a turn on in and of itself. I wonder what the name for that fetish is… I guess we shall find out soon as I begin exploring. Stay tuned my friends, fans and followers; I believe this is all about to get really fun, really interesting and really dirty!
